So you want to buy black night leopard gecko for sale…

Black night leopard geckos for sale are some of the most sought after and rarest of all leopard gecko morphs.  Originally the black night leopard gecko was developed in Europe. US breeders have now purchased founder stock from the original black night leopard gecko breeder, Ferry Zuurmond and Roy Sluiter of the Netherlands to develop this beautiful new black gecko, which is the result of a 15-year breeding project.  We are working with those top black night leopard geckos for sale, to produce some amazing black night geckos!

Leopard gecko genetics also play a role in the handling aspects of the various morphs, including the black night leopard gecko morph. Certain leopard gecko morphs are very mellow, while others are more lively and better suited for advanced hobbyists. I normally recommend the more docile morphs for children and beginners. Some of the designer morphs, such as Bandits and Mack Snows, are quite docile, as are the Giants, which are genetically a very calm gecko. Giants are some of my favorite geckos for this reason. Super Giants can achieve sizes up to 12 inches in length, and though a larger gecko than your regular leopard gecko, they are easy to keep and make wonderful pets.

The SuperGiant leopard gecko genes are particularly exciting to work within breeding projects. If a Super Giant leopard gecko is bred to a regular-sized leopard gecko, roughly 100 percent of the offspring will be Giant leopard gecko. Super Giant bred with Super Giant produces 100 percent Super Giant offspring. I have found in my Giant projects that the offspring look and act almost identically to the parents, and particularly so with males looking and behaving like the fathers.

CB Reptile’s black night leopard gecko quick care guide:

What do I feed my black night leopard gecko for sale?

It is important to learn what your new black knight leopard gecko will eat.  Because raising a healthy black night leopard gecko is mostly based on what you’re feeding.  Most importantly, learn and understand proper baby leopard gecko feeding requirements before purchasing your leopard geckos for sale.  Keeping in mind that the best insects to feed are mealworms or crickets.  Notwithstanding,  you can also treat your pet to waxworms or super worms once a week.  All insects must be first given a nutritious powdered diet for at least 12 hours before being fed to your black night leopard gecko.

Because black night leopard geckos do not require UV light it is important to use the proper calcium and vitamin D supplement.  No matter what, all insects that are going to be fed to your pet leopard gecko should be dusted.  AT CB Reptile we use a combination of 3 parts to 1 Calcium to Vionate vitamin powder.

How often do you need to feed my baby black knight leopard gecko?

Once your new black knight leopard geckos for sale are purchased and arrive home, let them adjust.  Because they have just taken a trip, we recommend allowing for 2-3 days before feeding.  Mealworms should be provided in a shallow dish at all times.  Be sure to always dust all insects with proper vitamins and minerals. Lastly, crickets can be offered daily if you want to spoil your gecko. Crickets should be fed a minimum of twice a week. Always remember, when feeding crickets, only feed as many crickets as your pet gecko can eat in 15-20 minutes.
